Last week, after a year on the road, I went through a really difficult breakup with a girl I fell in love with that I met while traveling. One of those “on the road romances” that really crushed me when it ended.

I stayed with Wendy for two days, took off to Reno for two, then decided I needed to fly out to Texas to be with family, and Wendy didn’t even hesitate when I asked to store my bike with her for ten days."

In spite of a small percentage of glitches that may arise in the Bunk a Biker realm, I want to speak gratitude and accolades to Zee for her incredible insight, foresight, and fortitude.

I have been one of the lucky members, in that in all of my dealings with hosting and guesting have been nothing less than fabulous and enriching. I had a European couple get stuck at my house for 2 1/2 months due to the pandemic last year. They were a godsend to me, and I know they appreciated me and felt the same.

I was honored this past weekend to host a fine southern gentleman named Bobby Romell. He came from Texas to participate in the ride to the wall event that left out of Ontario yesterday morning. He showed up a couple days early, and got the grand tour of Southern California including route 66 wigwam hotel, Tom’s Farm, Lake Elsinore lookout, Hells kitchen, Ortega Highway, Cook’s corner, Balboa Island ferry, Laguna Beach, and Pacific Coast Highway .

If Bobby Romell needs a place to stay he comes with my stamp of approval.

""Limping home, towing a motorcycle, and terrified of every rest stop on the map..." sounds like the start of a bad movie, but Megan & Kam, and Mark & Caroline turned it into a feel-good blockbuster! 🎬🏍️

Huge, massive thank you to Megan & Kam, and Mark & Caroline for letting me crash on their property when my bike decided to throw a breakdown tantrum on my road trip through the States.

As a first-time motorcycle-tower, I was terrified to spend the night anywhere. Hotels felt sketchy, rest stops felt sketchy, and I was pretty sure someone was going to take off with either my bike or me in the middle of the night. 😅

But these amazing humans didn’t even hesitate. Despite their own crazy-busy schedules, they answered my last-minute frantic texts and swooped in to save the day.

Fast forward to today: I made it home in one piece, and I officially sprung my bike from motorcycle rehab yesterday! 🎉🔧

Seriously, I’m so ridiculously thankful for this community. You guys absolutely rock! 🤘❤️— with Megan McNabb and Mark Baker."

Tonight's bunker Dimtry from Belarus between Poland and Russia. Wow this guy has some stories for a 26 year old. Hitchhiked across Europe and Asia, flew to Florida and bought a 2020 sportster 1200 to cruise the states with. This guy for being so young has done some traveling, little bit of a language barrier but speaking bikes is a universal language. He is glad to be in the cabin all warm and comfy, Welcome Dimtry to the cabin

"Had our very first Bunk-a-Biker experience last night at Scott Inch in Spokane. We just can say it was overwhelming! Scott is such a great host, took us in with no questions asked, made us awesome Dinner and breakfast, provided us with an extra room and bathroom and even a spot for the bike in his garage. We had such a great time with him and slept like babies. Since this is the start for my journey around the world I can just hope for some more great experiences like that, but it‘s hard to top! Love this community already!"
